Trip to Pokhara City
Pokhara is a slice of heaven in the world. There are many interesting and beautiful places to visit in Nepal, outside the Kathmandu Valley. Pokhara is one of the most picturesque and exciting valleys in the entire Nepal. Pokhara valley is known as the ‘Jewel of the Midwest’and is the second major tourist spot in Nepal. It is connected by air and by the road from Kathmandu and Indian border Sunauli. Pokhara lies two hundred kilometers west of the Kathmandu 6 hours by car and twenty-five minutes by air. It is well-known for its lakes and its position underneath the towering Annapurna massif. It is greatly recommended to visit this picturesque valley, stay in the tiny hotels with the view of the glorious Himalayan peaks, go boating in the peaceful waters of the Begnas and the Phewa lakes or go on day hikes or tours in the nearby peaks or if the time badges, on a well-prepared trekking break.
Further twelve km east of the Pokhara, at the end of the road that turns north from the highway to Kathmandu, is the Begnas Lake presenting the flawless nature haven because of its comparative seclusion.
